Three Apprentice House authors recently earned commendations in national competitions.
Still Come Home, a novel by Katey Schultz, has been listed as a finalist (with winners announced in June) for the Foreword Indies Book of the Year in both the General Fiction and the War/Military Fiction categories.
Celibate, by Maria Giura, won the 2020 Independent Press Award for Religion Nonfiction.
TRIAL BY FAMILY, by Roselee Blooston, won a gold medal for Mid-Atlantic Best Regional Fiction from the 2020 Independent Publisher Book Awards (the “IPPYs”).
“Just when you think no one notices all the hard work that goes into writing a book something good happens,” said Blooston.
All three books were released by Apprentice House Press in Fall 2019.
