Baltimore, MD- Apprentice House Press is delighted to announce that acclaimed author Jean Burgess has been featured in an exclusive interview with WMAR Baltimore. Originally broadcast February 15th, the interview will re-air on February 20th on WMAR. The interview will delve into Burgess’s latest release, The Summer She Found Her Voice: A Retro Novel. Through emotionally charged themes of feminism, heartbreak, and self discovery, Burgess tells the story of 20 year old Margie Stevens in the music scene of 1970s Baltimore. Tune in to WMAR develop a deeper understanding of the inspiring coming-of-age tale from the author herself.
