Sean Byrne’s first work of literary fiction, a novel titled The Psychopomps, is scheduled for release in April 2022.
This novel dives deep into the struggles of mental health throughout different stages of life and highlights the challenges people with mental health troubles face that are all too common in our world today.
“The rich plot addresses such an important and relevant topic in such a fascinating way,” says Kevin Atticks, Apprentice House director.
The Psychopomps illustrates the tough story of men and women whose final acts of volition were stolen from them by the reclusive owner of an abandoned building. The collected group must navigate their days combating their past, fearing the present violence of a maniac, and weighing the ultimate choice of living.
“I am humbled, excited and so nervous to have my novel published,” said author, Sean Byrne. “I hope people read it and come away feeling that they are not alone.”
